Bill Gates: Safest Age for children to own smartphone.

Bill Gates, World renowned Billionaire and Tech Mogul shows strictness on how he allows his children access to technology.

In an interview, the tech genius said his children were not allowed to own their own cellphone until the age of 14. “We often set a time after which there is no screen time, and in their case that helps them get to sleep at a reasonable hour,” he stated. Bill Gates added that his children are not allowed to use cellphones at the table, but are allowed to use them when studying or for doing homework.

Let’s not that Bill Gates children are now 14, 17 and 20 and are all above the minimum age requirement to own a phone, but they are still banned from having any IOS OS and Apple products in the house, becaus of Bill Gate’s longtime rivalry of interest with Apple founder Steve Jobs.

Chief executive of Influence Central, The New York Times, Stacy DeBroff made her opinion known on the matter, she said “I think that age is going to trend even younger, because parents are getting tired of handing their smartphones to their kids,”
